proxy with windows media player 11
« on: November 10, 2007, 02:11:05 PM »
I am french but live in USA. I want to see soccer games for free at

Code: [Select]
http://football.direct8.fr/
While in France, I could see all games. But in USA, close to each game, there is: "*  Ce match n'est pas disponible en différé dans votre pays ", which means that this game is not available in my country.

So I chose a french proxy and then this message didn't appear. But I still couldn't see the video. When I right-click on the video and chose Options - Network - Configure. I put "use proxy settings of the browser" for http. But it still didn't work.

Can you help?

Terry

How to Configure Proxy Settings in Media Player:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/260023

You should try Socks Proxies rather than HTTP Proxies in Windows Media Player.
Elite Proxy Switcher - Easily testing and using proxies.
Socks Proxy Checker - To be your chief socks proxy checker.
Buy Proxy - Buy checked proxies from My-Proxy easily and quickly.
