Forum Proxy Leecher / If all the proxies die, please use this patch
« on: March 01, 2006, 05:56:22 AM »
The recent MS patches restore the max connection number to 10.
So WinXP SP2 users need modify it again.

When you find that the leeching or testing processing is slower than before, you should check if the number is restored to 10 and fix it again.

Proxy Site Report / How to find new proxy sites using Google (by thchog)
« on: February 28, 2006, 04:38:02 AM »
Many thanks to thchog. He found a good method to find proxy sites.
Quote from: "thchog"
The list did produce forums that produced proxies. I am still working on but with some help or time I am confident the end result would search google and other SE on a defined date (2/27/2006-2/28/2006) range, grabbing new posts spidered by the meta crawlers. Should work for most forums, many where it will bypass U : P through cache. Here are the few I came up with or found that had potential.

Code: [Select]
inurl:"index.php" intext:"anonymous proxy"
inurl:"/forum/*topic*=*" intext:":8080" OR "80" OR "3124" "proxy"
inurl:"/forum/" "*topic*=*" intext:"*.*.*.*:8080" AND "*.*.*.*80" AND "*.*.*.*3124" "proxy"

Forum Proxy Leecher / Please stop using CGI proxyjudges
« on: January 24, 2006, 02:56:40 AM »
Becuase CGI proxyjudge causes great load to the web server, it will always show the "Service Temporarily Unavailable" page for the users. So you will get a lot of timeout proxies with them.

It means that you are wasting your precious proxies if test them with CGI proxyjudges. However it's helpful to show how to judge the level of a proxy when you browse the CGI proxyjudge page through proxies.

From now on, please stop using CGI proxyjudges to test the proxies.
You can find some very nice AZ proxyjudges from here and use them with FPL:

Moreover, it's greatly recommended to download FPL 1.05B,
which is more compatible with AZ proxyjudges and packed with latest leech lists and proxyjudge.

Proxy Questions / What's gateway proxies
« on: January 12, 2006, 05:59:16 AM »
They are some similar proxies such as:
Code: [Select]

If you use them to browser the online proxy checker such as: , you will find that actually all of them connect to the internet through one proxy, for example.

Brief Report
Your IP
Detail Information

If you don't want to be identified as the same IP by the website after changing your proxy, you should not use the gateway proxies. However it makes no difference if you only want to surf anonymously.

Elite Proxy Switcher can test whether a proxy is a gateway proxy.
Forum Proxy Leecher support "remove gateway proxies" when testing the proxies.

Proxy Questions / About the Codeen/Planetlab Proxies
« on: January 02, 2006, 05:54:35 AM »
If you see these text when you use a proxy to surf, you are using a CoDeeN proxy.

At the end of the page, you will see:
You will be redirected to the page you have just requested in ten seconds.

Just click that link or wait for 10 seconds to continue to surf the page that you requested. Sometimes you may be required to input some code to identify yourself as a human.

CoDeeN proxies have some limits. You cannot login forums, download files or surf https sites. However you can use them to surf most ordinary sites.

You can switch to another proxy if you do not want to use CoDeeN proxy. The fast way to identify a CoDeeN proxy is to remember most 3124/3127 proxies are CoDeeN proxies.

EPS Professional can correctly test whether a proxy is a CoDeen proxy:

Proxy Questions / Why proxies always die quickly
« on: January 02, 2006, 05:53:02 AM »
When you use a proxy, you are using the resource on the proxy server such as its CPU and memory. If too many people use the same proxy, the proxy server will exceed its limited load and go down. If a proxy can be found easily, it usually dies very fast.

You should check whether the proxies are still working before using them. Our software can help you to test and use the proxies.

How to add custom links into leech list (For FPL 1.04):

The relationship between forumlist.txt and customlist.txt:

Forumlist is the default leech list for FPL and it must exist in the FPL directory.
FPL support team will maintain the list and you can get the latest version of the list at:

Customlist is new from FPL 1.04. Users can easily add their links into it.
We provide a customlist example at:

Note that customlist should be maintained by the users, not FPL support team.

FPL will handle the links on the two lists in the same way:
The links with the format such as
Code: [Select]|page|0are forum links. FPL will find the topic links in the "forum" and leech the proxies from the topics.

The links with the format such as
Code: [Select] ordinary links. FPL will leech the proxies directly from them.

Forum Proxy Leecher / How to add custom links into leech list
« on: December 07, 2005, 08:50:53 PM »
If you want to add a forum link into the FPL leech list, please refer to this topic:
How to add new forums to FPL list:

This topic will tell you how to add custom links such as into the leech list.

The easiest way is copy these lines into "customlist.txt":
Code: [Select]
Those links are "ordinary links" for FPL. FPL will leech the proxies on them.

But we have a cleverer method. Just add this line into "customlist.txt":
Code: [Select]|page|0That also tells FPL to leech all the 10 pages in

The link:
Code: [Select]
http://www.proxy4free.comis a forum link for FPL.

FPL will find the topic links in the "forum" proxy4free and leech the proxies from the topics (page1.html, page2.html,...)

However, you don't need to add proxy4free into your customlist because its already in the "forumlist.txt".

If you want to know the relationship between forumlist.txt and customlist.txt, please refer to this topic:
