Title: Well I don't know what a proxy is. Maybe a definition of it on top of forum.

I apologize for my ignorance but I don't know what a proxy is.  If anyone has the time to explain... I would appreciate it.  thanks.

A proxy usually is used to enable faster browsing by caching it as a proxy. but today, it is been used to hide our original IP address.
