Title: Simple Machine forums & open proxy
Post by: mike_999 on April 22, 2007, 09:18:24 PM
Hello,

As I'm sure many of you are aware, when posting and sometimes even viewing any message boards, your IP address is being recorded in a database. I'm trying to find a solution, which would allow me to browse and post in forums (Simple Machines if it makes any difference) anynomously, without revealing my IP address. I tried using my "usual" website: www.freeproxy.ca but got the message saying that the site I'm connecting from has to be whitelisted first.

Since this is not exactly my area of expertise, I tried to google a few things up and ended up here :)

Your advice would be greatly appreciated (and I don't mind spending money if that's going to "produce" the result I'm looking for).

Thank you!

You can try our product Elite Proxy Switcher (EPS):
http://www.eliteproxyswitcher.com/

Please use EPS Professional version to test the proxies in detail and then use a proxy that support SSL to surf or post in the forum.
