Post by: randall on July 26, 2015, 04:05:11 PM
Hello!

I set up a proxy in firefox, but now no page loads.

Is it because my anti-virus? Is use AVG, how do I set up my proxy so it can work properly?

Thanks.

Maybe the proxy was dead. Please change to another proxy.

Hello!

I have pasted your fresh proxy list into my Proxy swither and it tested them, and  all of it are dead, saying connection refused.

Why are proxies refuse to connect with my computer?

The websites display that: the proxy server is not responding, or that it have timed out.

I even disabled my firewall and web protect,b ut it still doesn't work.

I access the internet with a router.

Many proxies refuse to connect to sites which don't have a domain.

Many proxies refuse to connect to sites which don't have a domain.

Sorry, but I don't understand. What do you mean by them not having a domain?

Or Using google and baidu as default sites for testing is a mistake?

What sites should I use for testing?

Thanks

Why don?t you try this Proxy Server "Hidester". Some of his features are real time verified list of public anonymous proxies, for browsing websites anonymously and hiding your IP address. Advanced filtering and sorting options. Here is a link: https://hidester.com/proxylist/

I think problem with your proxy. It may be dead. Which proxy service you are using? Most of the proxy provider do not replace dead proxy. But my proxy provider do. It automatically replace any dead proxy. I am using Blazing proxy.
