Title: Connecting through my normal IP
Post by: lolnoob on March 27, 2012, 01:12:16 PM
Hello,

I'm attempting to ban evade on a SA:MP server where I'm unfairly banned on.
The proxy I'm using should work correctly as I tried multiple proxies and they all have the same result,
When I start SA:MP, I get the normal "Via Widecap" behind it, it pings the servers correctly with an average ping.
When I press Connect on SA:MP, I connect to the server, then it says that my IP is banned and it shows my normal IP.
What am I doing wrong?

There are three types of proxy:

* High Anonymous Proxy (Level 1): The web server can't detect whether you are using a proxy.
* Anonymous Proxy (Level 2): The web server can know you are using a proxy, but it can't know your real IP.
* Transparent Proxy (Level 3): The web server can know you are using a proxy and it can also know your real IP.

If you use Level 3 proxy, the server can know your real IP. You can use our free software to test the level of proxies before using them: http://www.eliteproxyswitcher.com
