Title: Company proxy connect to home proxy?
Post by: eryklok on August 01, 2012, 01:18:19 AM
I set up a proxy server at home and it works internally and externally so theres no problems connecting to it from any typical house network, however i only set it up to gain access to specific sites at work and we have to go through a proxy server to get connection to internet so here is my question, how can i connect to their proxy then browse websites through my home proxy, i know other proxy sites on the internet work but i have no idea how to make a website for my proxy server, so basically i want to be able to connect to their proxy then through their proxy connect to mine and browse is this possible? if not how could i make a simple website to be able to go on it and browse in a window through my home proxy?

You can use Proxifier to chain the proxies:
Code: [Select]
http://www.proxifier.com/documentation/v3/chain.htm
If you just want to unblock websites at work, you can just try our software: http://www.myiphide.com/
It encrypts the traffic so it can bypass your company firewall even if it uses content filtering.

the thing about proxyfier is that i can't put 2 http proxies in one chain otherwise it pops up with an error saying i need to put the http proxy last in the chain.. i would if the proxy was just for personal use i was thinking of using it not just for myself but to my work mates too.

Maybe the first proxy in the chain (the company proxy) doesn't support CONNECT method for outgoing port 80.
