Using a proxy with a program?
« on: August 27, 2006, 09:43:26 AM »
I want to use a proxy for an online game (Tibia) and the game is a program which is installed on my computer.  Im completely new to proxys but is there anyway to set up a proxy that changes my ip when i log onto the game even though it is a program?  Ive seen 2 other people ask something about this and i looked at http://www.socksproxychecker.com/sockscap.html and it doesnt say anything about support for windows XP, which i currently run on.

You can use SocksCap on Windows XP.
You can get some socks proxies from here for your SocksCap:
http://www.my-proxy.com/free-socks-5-proxy.html
Elite Proxy Switcher - Easily testing and using proxies.
Socks Proxy Checker - To be your chief socks proxy checker.
Buy Proxy - Buy checked proxies from My-Proxy easily and quickly.
