help: proxy chaining to break the limit?
« on: August 18, 2010, 11:02:04 AM »
im from Egypt, my network forces me to use
a proxy to access the web (10.71.130.29:8080) ,the problem is that it blocks access to some sites ,and the only way to get around this is to use proxy programs that use servers with port 443 (the only port that works) so what im doing right now is to use (for example) ultrasurf and set it to use (10.71.130.29:8080) ,and it works good ,are we ok till now?

the problem is that all programs that depend on port 443 and are free have disadvantages, may be slow ,frequently disconnect ,and so on.
so i'm thinking that if i have a proxy with port 443 (82.137.196.241:443) i can make
a proxy chain from 10.71.130.29:8080 to 82.137.196.241:443.
i tried to do so using proxifier , i put 10.71.130.29:8080 first in the proxy
list ,and below it 82.137.196.241:443 (both proxies are https)
but didnt work, i just need to use 82.137.196.241:443 through 10.71.130.29:8080 , is that possible , plz help

Ultrasurf encrypts the communication between your PC and the websites so the proxy 10.71.130.29:8080 can not block you because it can not know the site and the page content that you are visiting. The disadvantage is that the connection is slow and unsteady.

To use a proxy chain cannot help you because it does not encrypt the communication.
