What proxy can I use to bypass blocked ports?

Hi guys
I'm new here, and I do not really know much about proxies
Well, I am in college and we got free Wi-Fi here, however it won't let me connect to play my games, and I got a long break between classes so that's a b*tch! I think the ITs here blocked it so that we couldn't play games.
I am asking if there is some kind of magic program that will allow me to connect to the games in some other way(isn't that what proxies are for?)

Nice, that is some progress, but what numbers must I input into the "SOCKS Server"? Or if its user sensitive, where and how do I obtain those numbers?

Actually I tried inputting some proxies that I found on sockslist.net, but I get an error when I launch the game, an error that looks as such:Couldn't Open shared file mapping Sc32Share.4C992235.0232: The system cannot find the file specified(errnum=2)

and another one:

"Launcher: empty command line."

Maybe you did not correctly add the game into sockscap.
