My organisation uses a proxy service for internet.My utorrent program isn't working although i did not find restriction to any other site or web app.

The proxy of your organization may only support surfing. It may not support UTorrent.

but i am able to download through idm or even i can download apps in utorrent.Only the torrent files don't start.

Because it uses HTTP, your browser can download it too.

It uses P2P protocol and the proxy doesn't support it.
