use proxy with an LOIC

Hello all, this is my first post here, and I'd hate for it to be concering such a noob tool like an LOIC, but too bad lol
I was wondering if there is anyway to direct an LOIC through a proxy, while testing this program on my brothers server (he was testing if he could block it)
he mentioned that my IP was being broadcasted to him 500times/second.
So when actually using this thing, id rather not hand out my IP.
So can i use a proxy with this program so the person on the recieving end doesnt get my real IP?

Anyways, i tried this program called Real Hide IP, it works for web browsing, but it didn't
work with this program (i tested it out on my brothers server)

Socks proxy is universal proxy for all your Internet activities while the ordinary (http) proxy can only be used for surfing. You can use socks proxy to anonymously send email by SMTP, transfer file by FTP, chat by IM/IRC software and play online game.

Thanks, so used the SPC and found a couple, then used sockscap, but it still didnt work, like the requested got through from the LOIC, but my acutal IP was still attached. Does socks proxy work for TCP? Thats what I'm using.

There are two versions of socks proxy: version 4 and 5, as known as Socks4 and Socks5. Socks5 supports TCP/UDP while socks4 only supports TCP.
