Can FPL leech socks proxies?

hello. this site is new to me  and your wonderful program FPL looks very interesting. i think it's exactly what i need. i need 10ks of proxies daily!

however, i see that it doesn't support socks, is that right? if so, then why?

Yes, FPL doesn't support socks proxies. We will only consider developing a socks version if the market is big enough.

Now you can use FPL to leech socks proxies and test them with other tools if you are familiar with the format of FPL leech link.

just wanted to let you know also that your billing emetrix has got some problems with processing credit cards, at least opera says their server is down when processing credit card. i think you should have a backup billing solution for such cases.

and another question. where does FPL save socks? socks can be on any port not only 1080, how does FPL know that it's a sock not proxy.

FPL doesn't identify socks or http proxies. It save all the proxies leeched in "proxy.txt".
If you leeched the socks proxy pages, you should test them with a socks proxy tester and vice versa.

Before testing, you should remove the duplicates in "proxy.txt". The build-in tester Bleach can do that easily, but it can only test http proxies.

BTW, thanks for your notice of Emetrix's problem. I'll contact them ASAP.
