When I download the proxy leech list for FPL and grab the proxies to check, I do not get as many as shown on the daily update of proxies.
Today when I download all the proxies from the list I get 23659 unique proxies of which 127 are anonymous - L1, L2 or L3.
Yet the daily update give has 72196 unique proxies and 4819 anonymous proxies.
Why the difference.

Well golly gee Terry, "we just add up the number of all the leech links" would appear to mean that it does not take into account the tremendous number of Planetlab/CoDeeN proxies included, nor would the high percentage of duplication of proxies within that total.
That's very misleading for those who people don't think!

Total proxies: 3488
Total anonymous (L1 & L2): 204
Transparent (L3): 15
Time-outs: 3269 (means anything Bleach can make a connection with)
Of the so-called 204 anonymous proxies, 146 are Planetlab/CoDeeN (considered worthless by most) and due to the invalid ports (68660 & 68664) there is duplication once these are converted to 16-bit:

This leaves 58 truly anonymous proxies, or are they? I am very suspect of Bleach's ability to actually determine an anonymous proxy because when immediately running these through other more reliable checkers (Charon & AATools) only half of these tested to be working.

The stats given for the proxy leech sites for FPL are misleading.
I download all the leeched proxies approx 72000 go 34000 unique proxies. Ran them through Charon and got 64 anonymous (L1 and L2) proxies. A lot of hard work for not a lot of reward.

Why are you always a day late and a dollar short rugenyes. Didn't you read what has been stated above?
No one cares what your results are, because few people here believe them one way or the other. Who cares about generalized stats anyway, the only thing that matters is what your individual results are.
But, if you were honest, even your so-called results are flawed. Lets look at the most obvious oversights and gross exaggerations on your part:
1). You aren't taking into account all the Planetlab/CoDeeN proxies that FPL reports as high anonymous, and that you most likely filtered out with Charon ... thereby greatly reducing the proxies actually tested.
2). It would take Charon at least a week to test 34,000 proxies properly, and when you were done those that were reported anonymous in the beginning would already be dead.
3). Charon doesn't rate proxies as "L1 and L2".

I used 12 random proxies from Katmandos list (given as anonymous by Bleach) to surf the proxy judge I used to test them and every one spilled my ip address.
So conclusion Bleach is totally flawed.
