someone knows my ip and is tracking me on the web. ( i have static ip )

While i know that web proxies are useful at shielding you from website owners, my question is:

are web proxies of any use against someone who knows your ip and is tracking you?

please reply only if you are 200% certain.

It's certain that the website you visit through the web proxy won't know your IP and can not track you. If your computer is infected, the hacker can still track you by Trojan.

well i know that and this is why ppl use proxies.

Right again. hacker can infect your pc with trojan or keylogger to track you. But that is not at all my concern, because I have updated best antivirus and firewall. So no problem.

If hacker has my static ip then he can use ip sniffers or packet analyzers to track me. Right?

So here is my question: can high anonymous proxy beat hacker who uses packet analyzer to track your ip? What about ssl proxies? Are they needed in this case? will they help?

If the hacker knows your IP, he can still use packet analyzer to track your online action even though you use a proxy. The way to avoid being tracking is to encrypt your communication.

You can use a HTTPS (SSL) web proxy to visit other websites. Thus the hacker can not track you.
