Of the 2744 listings in the above list, nearly 1500 are duplicates.  Brilliant!  High numbers of duplication almost always appear in lists when the jerks who post them don't bother to eliminate hostname proxies following resolution to IP Addresses.  They do this for one of two reasons:  1)  They are ignorant  or 2)They are ignorant and believe the overall size of their list will be more impressive, hoping that the people will post a "thank you" before discovering that the list is totally worthless.

There were a total of 70 working proxies in this list, of those 34 were transparent (non-anonymous).  Of the 36 anonymous proxies in this list, 29 of these were CoDeeN/Planetlab and Educational

Alert:  Anyone posting a list of more than 600 so-called anonymous proxies these days is simply posting crap.  In fact, few people have more than 300-400 working anonymous proxies at any given time.

There are a proxy list, not an anonimous proxy list!.....

the codeen proxys are not bad proxys...they are bad for craking!!!!!... but if you only surf on the web with they, you can use them perfectly......
if you dont use them with “bad intentions” they are perfectly useful!!!!

Hey entarpe, my point about 50% of those working proxies in your list being CoDeeN/Planetlab proxies has nothing to do with anyone's ability to crack porn sites with them ... least of all mind.

Most people who have need of using a proxy, wish to do more than simply surf  with it.  They want to login to various sites, post messages, check email, etc., and with CoDeeN/Planetlab proxies they cannot.
