Hello, i've been looking at alot of socks5 proxies and have used markus's tool. (Veryify socks) and have tried to use many socks for my game. I have followed all the direcections but I havn't gotten one to work. I keep getting WSAECONNREFUSED or NET_OpenSocks bad response. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Yes, I did. The username and password. Is that for the game, if so I shouldn't have to check that because you don't log in at all. This is for a multiplayer game by the way. I just don't understand why none these are working. How can I test it for internet? I did add it and used the IP and port, and it says page can not be found. I don't think i'm doing anything wrong.

The username and password is for the socks proxy, not the game. However most free socks proxies don't need an username/password. So you should not check "username/password" in most cases.

Anyone else have any ideas on how I could fix this? Here's part of the log file from SocksCap32.

Please set your sockscap as this (the proxy just died, you should change another one):

Then run IE through your sockscap and go to this url: http://ip.my-proxy.com
If your setting is correct, you should see this:
Your IP: 59.30.182.9 Country: (KR) REPUBLIC OF KOREA

If you can run IE through your sockscap but can't run your game through it, then you can try another program that is similar to Sockscap:
http://www.freecap.ru/eng/?p=download
Some people said that Freecap can socksify the applications that SocksCap fails.

I tried to connect to the internet using the IP you gave me, but the socks timed out. Anyways, I tried adding a few UDP ports, and it seems to fix the connection to the TCP, but for some odd reason I still get an error. It doesn't really show in logs, but the error I get is Get_NetPacket WSWSAECONNABORTEDAEINTR
