i am new to this proxy thing here but when i connect to a proxy server seems like my internet runs worst then dial up connection is that normal? or am i doing something wrong any help is apreciatet

You should test the proxies before using them. Your speed will be faster if you use a proxy with a smaller delay.

 thanks i have done that but it seems when i am on my lan network its really slow on my wireless network it works fine any advice why and how to??

About the network problem, maybe you'd better consult your ISP for help.

If you want relatively fast speeds for general browsing, it's best to use Tor.

But as Tor is blocked from many sites, I still need to scan for proxies and use proxy list sites like this one.
