Microsoft issues new Windows TCP/IP patch 01/08/08

Heads up!

This latest patch, deals with vulnerabilities in Windows TCP/IP, and will change your half-open connections back to the default setting of 10 for XP (and I believe 5 for Vista).

The patch is definitely recommended, but if you do not run the LvlLord patch again following this upgrade, you will be receiving numerous "timeout" problems when testing proxies with proxy analyzing software.

Correction (update) regarding Vista:

It is now my understanding that the lvllord patch does not work for Vista.  If that is true, then try this one:

howd ya set yours up Terry cuz it still not working for me ?
I cant even get one good proxy they all time out in charon.

my os is vista ultimate 32 bit and should work with this patch.

heres what happen when I ran it.

Oki Terry after a bit of reseaching the net I found this link it shows you how to install the patches properly for those guys out there like myself that were having problems.
