Hi,

This is an important question, that i know many people must ask to you guys on a daily basis. Is it illegal to use proxies? Because I was thinking about trying it for privacy on my computer, and also to increase my computer speed. But, I am afraid that I will get caught and get into trouble. I live in wisconsin and can anyone find out for me the law of using proxies in the state of Wisconsin. Because if it is oh ok, than I will use it but I dont want to get into trouble for using it. Let me know the full details about it.

Thanks,

NightWalker

Of course it's not legal to use a proxy for illegal purposes.
You don't need to worry about it if you use it to protect your privacy.

18 USC 1030 (which covers computer-related fraud and theft):
