Hello,

hmmmm ..... so anonymity or transparency ...... I dunno.

I had a vague understanding that by way of a Proxy Server, one could appear to have another IP address.

What I would like to be able to do is surf to a site, register, login and submit some data.

Then go back to the same site through what ever means necessary (Proxy Server maybe) and register as another user and submit different data.

So .....

1) Is that possible by using a proxy server

2) Does it require purchasing software to allow the use of a proxy server

3) Is software required and if so do I have to install it locally on my PC or is it something I need to install on a domain server?

3) If software is required, with no more than I am trying to accomplish, do I need the best most expensive or can I get by with something that will suit my needs and not cost over $30 or $40?

4) What is the difference between transparent and anonymous?

I'll appreciat any help you choose to offer,

Mike
