Please people i wanna know if they is any way u can trace an ip with the email adress

You can trace any IP Address!  So, if you are asking if the originating IP Address on an email can be traced the answer is "yes", of course.

Perhaps I didn't understand your question, if so please offer a bit more detail?

If you look at the header of the email you received, you can see these code, which contains the IP information.

For example:

Code:

Received: from [xx.xx.xx.xx] (helo=SenderComputerName)
(envelope-from <xxx@xxx.com>)
id 1Ip9vW-0007IF-1D

But if the sender uses a web mail, you can't know his IP, only the IP of the mail server.

For example:

Received: from fk-out-0910.google.com ([209.85.128.184])
(envelope-from <***@gmail.com>)
id 1Ir7qH-0001w2-3c

But you can report it to GMail, who knows the sender's IP.

Thanks  ppl ive been able to see the ips usind d email header.
what i meant was if i can guess an ip attach to any email id.

You can know the IP of the mail server by the email address, but not the IP of the sender.
