The recent MS patches restore the max connection number to 10.
So WinXP SP2 users need modify it again.

When you find that the leeching or testing processing is slower than before, you should check if the number is restored to 10 and fix it again.

Download the patch here:

I am very new to this and I apologize in advance for my extreme ignorance. Embarrassed I have a couple of question's regarding this new patch. First, This patch is to be applied "If all the proxies die" Is this referring to when you are verifying the proxies anonyminity in Charon and they all fail?  (meaning either time out or are bad?) I can check in excess of 20000 and not have a single one be good. Or is this referring to when you are leeching thru FPL collecting your proxie list and some of the connections are very slow? Again I want to say sorry if these are dumb questions I am just trying to learn.

Finally, Am I correct in saying you place the patch into the FPL folder?

Thank you very much for your patience and help.

Windows XP SP2 & 2003 SP1 Beta limits the maximum TCP connection to 10 for safety. But you can only scan 10 topics simultaneously with this limit so that the leeching and testing process will be extremely long.

Please read more details here:

On EPS PRO, I still have all the proxies timeout.
It works when I set the proxies without EPS PRO, but once I tested the proxies with EPS PRO, they stopped working.

Please set the "Max Thread" to 5 in the "EPS Setting" (menu "Test"->"Setting") dialog and try again.
Thank you.
