If you have any problem when using SocksCap:
1) Did you read this tutorial:

2) Make sure your socks proxy is still alive.
3) The username and password in the SocksCap setting dialog is for the socks proxy. Most free socks proxies don't need an username/password. So you should not check "username/password" in most cases.
4) Please set your sockscap as this (just replace the IP and port):
Then run IE through your sockscap and go to this url:
http://ip.my-proxy.com
If your setting is correct, you should see the IP you set for SockCap, just like this:
Your IP: 59.30.182.9
Country: (KR) REPUBLIC OF KOREA
5) If you can run IE through your sockscap but can't run your application through it, then you can try another program that is similar to Sockscap:
http://www.freecap.ru/eng/?p=download
Some people said that Freecap can socksify the applications that SocksCap fails.
